Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. Her mother was her primary caregiver in the USA in a place where she endured many racial taunts that made her feel like a non-person. When she was in 9th grade she felt more secure after being praised by her teachers for her performance at school's audition. The experience not only helped to boost her confidence, but also changed the direction she was heading in her the future. The 22-year-old graduated with an education from the Julliard School in New York. In 1993 she had her Broadway debut in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot, she played the role of Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC the show, she received more recognition. In addition to being an acclaimed singer she released a solo and a longer piece. Also, she is a campaigner and has been active in the field of LGBT rights.
