Zoe-perry

Perry is the daughter of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. Her first appearances were on TV as Jackie Harris, a character who was played by her mom in her role on the ABC comedy Roseanne. However, her parents didn't want her to pursue acting until she became older and worried about the consequences of stress. Perry admitted that she wasn't at ease in the stage during high school, but started performing as a means to meet new individuals while at Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. After graduating Perry moved back to New York to search for acting opportunities on TV, landing small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought her back to California which is where she discovered acting work. The show she performed in was Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In the year 2015, she was with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning Drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry made an appearance in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Then in 2017, she appeared as a recurring role on the ABC film Scandal with her father. The same year she was chosen to portray a younger character of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) on Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again acting as a younger version her mother's role. The actress was chosen for the role despite her close relationship with the character's family.
